FSU Black Alumni - Byrnes Guillaume, Esq Scholarship for a Black Student of Caribbean Descent
Recipient must be enrolled as a student at FSU during the current academic school year and must have completed or updated the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the current academic school year. During the current academic school year, the FSU Black Alumni will award a $1,000 Byrnes Duillaume, Esq. Scholarship to one (1) deserving student. This one-time scholarship award will be distributed to the selected recipient during the Fall semester, unless specified otherwise.
One of the purposes of this scholarship is to increase diversity at Florida State University. Any student may apply to be considered for the award; however, it is the preference of the donor that the recipient be Black or African American and of Caribbean descent (born in a Caribbean island or country or first generation American with parent(s) born in a Caribbean island or country).
