Michael Baird Memorial Scholarship Fund

Recipient must be a student from the north central Florida counties of Marion or Alachua with a preference for students whose area of study is within the College of Music or Fine Arts.

The Michael Baird Memorial Scholarship Fund serves as a lasting tribute to the vision and commitment of Michael’s passion for life through education, music, and the arts. He was a gifted teacher, artist and musician and was able to touch the lives of many people through his art and teaching. One of his great joys was being able to help his students find their potential and watch it grow. It is his family’s wish to continue their father’s legacy by educating students even after their father’s passing by awarding one or more students annually who shine in the arts and want to take their potential to the next level.
