W. David Ellrich, Jr. CPA Scholarship Fund

Recipient must be an undergraduate student in the College of Business. A student will be selected based upon a review of their personal profiles, including such characteristics as family income and economic hardship, single-parent family, first generation in college, challenges of the applicant’s high school, geographic challenges, relative personal challenges and achievements, civic and intercultural awareness, leadership, initiative, honors and awards, specialized knowledge, and unusual characteristics.

One of the purposes of this scholarship is to increase diversity at Florida State University. Any student may apply to be considered for the award; however, it is the preference of the donor that the recipient be an educationally disadvantaged student, including African American, Hispanic or other ethnic minority descent.
